Sustainability is not a trend for us, but a firm conviction. The responsible use of resources and transparent corporate governance are just as fundamental for the future of the Brand Group as they are for the future of our planet. In 2024, we not only consistently continued our sustainability initiatives but significantly expanded them.
With the Sustainability Report 2024, we aim to inform openly and fact-based about our activities in the areas of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG).

Award as a sustainable company
VITLAB GmbH has successfully participated in the sustainability ranking of the EcoVadis evaluation platform. According to EcoVadis, VITLAB is among the top 25 percent of comparable companies evaluated and is awarded silver status for this.
United Nations Global Compact
With more than 20,000 participating companies, the United Nations Global Compact is the world's largest initiative for corporate sustainability and social responsibility. The Brand Group supports the ten principles of the UN Global Compact in the areas of human rights, labor standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption and has joined the initiative on September 30, 2024. In the future, we will therefore report publicly every year on the activities with which we integrate the ten principles into our business strategy and thus make a contribution to the United Nations' goals for sustainable development and social responsibility.
Validación de nuestros objetivos de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI)
La iniciativa Science Based Targets (SBTi) es una alianza entre CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), el Pacto Mundial de las Naciones Unidas, el Instituto de Recursos Mundiales (WRI) y el Fondo Mundial para la Naturaleza (WWF). Ayuda a las empresas y las instituciones financieras a establecer objetivos de emisiones alineados con las trayectorias científicas de 1,5 °C y «muy por debajo de 2 °C». Además, la SBTi revisa y valida los objetivos de las empresas participantes y promueve reducciones de emisiones transparentes y cuantificables en todo el mundo para alcanzar los objetivos de cero emisiones netas a corto y largo plazo, a más tardar en 2050.
Como parte de nuestro compromiso con la SBTi, nos centramos en la reducción cuantificable y verificable de las emisiones en toda nuestra cadena de valor. Brand Group SE & Co. KG se compromete a reducir las emisiones absolutas de gases de efecto invernadero de alcance 1 y 2 en un 42,0 % para 2030 con respecto al año base 2023. Brand Group SE & Co. KG se compromete a reducir las emisiones absolutas de gases de efecto invernadero de alcance 3 en un 25,0 % para 2030, tomando como referencia el año base 2023.
