Watch glasses

VITLAB offers two different types of watch-glasses: a transparent version made of polypropylene and an intransparent version made of PTFE. Watch-glasses are concave in shape for filling with small amounts of liquid. They are frequently used for weighing, storage in drying ovens and vapourisation of substances and liquids. Additionally, watch-glasses are used to cover Griffin beakers, flasks and bottles in order to protect the contents from contamination, splashing or evaporation.
